Jakob Tobler

Jakob Tobler, CFA has a diverse work experience in the finance industry. Jakob is currently the Director of Investments at Watco Companies LLC, where they started in 2022. Prior to this role, they were a Finance Manager at the same company from July 2021 to January 2022.

Before joining Watco Companies LLC, Tobler worked at TortoiseEcofin as a Senior Associate from July 2019 to July 2021. Jakob also gained valuable experience at Tortoise Capital Advisors as a Research Analyst from June 2015 to July 2019.

Tobler started their career as a Research Analyst Intern at Hanson Wells Partners in August 2014, where they worked until May 2015. Jakob also had a summer research associate position at Westwood Holdings Group, Inc. in June and July 2014.

Prior to these roles, Tobler worked as a Senior Performance Analyst at NEPC from August 2012 to May 2014 and as a Revenue Management Analyst at Allegiant Air from June 2011 to August 2012.

With their extensive experience in research analysis and performance management, Tobler brings a wealth of knowledge to their current role as Director of Investments.

Jakob Tobler, CFA has a Master's Degree in Finance from Vanderbilt University - Owen Graduate School of Management, which they obtained in 2015. Prior to that, they earned a Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration from the University of Nevada-Las Vegas in 2012. Additionally, they hold a Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) certification from the CFA Institute.
