Ahsan Akhtar

Ahsan Akhtar is the Vice President Corporate Business at Wateen Telecom. Ahsan has over fifteen years of experience in sales, marketing, and business development in the telecommunications industry.

Akhtar began their career as an Account Manager at SITA Pakistan in 2005. In this role, they were responsible for managing SITA's relationships with its clients in Pakistan and Afghanistan. Ahsan also served as SITA's Country Representative in Pakistan.

In 2007, Akhtar joined Wateen Telecom as Head of VAR, PS, and MNS. In this role, they were responsible for analyzing the market, developing objectives and strategies for IT solutions, and making decisions about price, advertising, promotion, and training of sales channel. Ahsan also managed the complete product life cycle.

In 2010, Akhtar was promoted to Vice President Corporate Business. In this role, they are responsible for driving the sales efforts in different sales units and providing trainings to the sales units (Commercial and Technical). Ahsan also provides continuous assistance to the sales units to counter the competition.

Ahsan Akhtar's educational career includes a B.Sc. in Electrical Engineering from the University of Engineering and Technology in Lahore, Pakistan.

Ahsan Akhtar reports to Adil Rashid, Chief Executive Officer. Ahsan Akhtar works with Zafar Iqbal - Vice President Human Resources & Admin Services, Yousaf Allahdad - Vice President Carrier Wholesale & International Business, and Omar Swati - Vice President SME & Consumer.
