Ehtisham Akram

Ehtisham Akram has extensive work experience in various roles related to finance and audit. Ehtisham started their career at Nexia International as an Audit Supervisor & Articles Ship, where they gained experience in managing financial audits, tax audits, and special assignments. Ehtisham then worked at Nishat Group as an Assistant Manager in Audit and Accounts, focusing on costing, budgeting, and management accounts. Ehtisham then joined Wateen Telecom Limited, where they held several positions including Assistant Manager - Business Controller, Manager Finance - Financial Controller, Division Head - Treasury, Financial Planning and Analysis, Interim Chief Financial Officer, and Director Finance - Revenue, Revenue Assurance Financial Operations, Credit & Collection. In their roles at Wateen Telecom, they led various financial functions such as strategic planning, treasury management, change management, and revenue assurance. Currently, they serve as the Director Audit, Risk, and Corporate Governance at Wateen Telecom Limited, overseeing the company's information and communications technology operations and driving technological advancements in the industry.

Ehtisham Akram completed a Masters in Financial Strategy at Saïd Business School, University of Oxford from 2015 to 2016. Prior to that, they obtained the ACA degree in Financial Planning and Services from the Chartered Accountant - CA in Pakistan from 2001 to 2005. Ehtisham also holds the FCCA degree in Finance and Financial Management Services from the Chartered Certified Accountant - ACCA in the UK from 2003 to 2006.
