Melody Chen

Melody Chen has extensive experience in the telecommunications industry, currently serving as Manager of Strategy & Planning at Wateen Telecom Limited since October 2008, where responsibilities include preparing optimization plans and developing carrier sale solutions for 3G rollout. Previously, Melody held the position of Assistant Manager at Nokia Siemens Networks, contributing to the commissioning of the Tall-Parachanar PTCL project, and at Carrier Telephone Industries, focusing on telecom equipment manufacturing and commissioning. Earlier career milestones include roles as Assistant Engineer at ETISALAT UAE, where administration of Lucent SDH systems was managed, and as a Commissioning Engineer for Siemens Indonesia and Lucent Technologies, involving testing and commissioning of various telecom equipment. Melody obtained a Diploma of Associate Engineer in Electronics from Government College of Technology Multan, Pakistan, between 1979 and 1982.
