Stephanie Jones

Stephanie Jones, CAE, CMP Fellow, serves as Managing Director of Event Strategy at the Water Environment Federation since December 1995, focusing on professional and workforce development programs. Jones oversees the creation and delivery of diverse educational offerings, including conferences and workshops, ensuring the readiness of water quality professionals throughout their careers. Previous roles include Senior Director of Conferences and Education, Acting Deputy Chief Administrative Officer, Senior Director of Conferences and Events Management, and Director of Conference Operations. Jones began at the Water Environment Federation in December 1985, progressing from Administrative Assistant to Registration and Housing Manager before taking on higher leadership positions. Jones holds a BA in Economics from the University of Maryland Baltimore County, earned in June 1985.
