Doug Griffes

Doug Griffes has extensive experience in the water sector, currently serving as a World Water Corps Volunteer and Program Manager with Water For People since 2017, focusing on WASH program management and sustainable briquette production in Kampala, Uganda. Previously, Griffes held various senior positions at CH2M HILL from 1985 to 2016, including Vice President and Senior Program Manager, where responsibilities encompassed managing the international development portfolio and executing significant projects like the Iraq Public Works and Water Reconstruction Program. Early career experience includes project management at Metcalf & Eddy from 1973 to 1985. Doug Griffes earned a Master of Science in Civil/Environmental Engineering from San Jose State University and a Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering from Lehigh University.
