Martin N Mawejje

Martin N Mawejje is a Sanitation Engineer with extensive experience in the water, sanitation, and hygiene (WASH) sector. Currently employed at Water For People since January 2020, Martin previously held roles as a Sanitation Engineer with the same organization and served as an MEng. Researcher at the WASH R & D Centre. Martin's work has focused on the research, design, and development of appropriate sanitation technologies, leveraging a business-oriented approach to sanitation. Earlier experience includes conducting feasibility studies and community engagement with UNICEF and research on water and sanitation technologies at the Appropriate Technology Center for Water and Sanitation. Martin holds a Master of Engineering in Chemical Engineering from the University of KwaZulu-Natal and a BSc in Civil Engineering from Makerere University, alongside pursuing an MBA from the Uganda Management Institute.
