Yvonne Lugali is a Sanitation Engineer at Water For People since January 2018 and has been a Graduate Student in Agricultural Engineering at Makerere University since August 2014, focusing on structures and the environment. Yvonne has previous experience as a Technical Sales Engineer at Biomed Systems Centre from September 2012 to January 2014 and as a Volunteer at Water For People in August 2012. This early role involved working under the guidance of an engineer on various water and sanitation technologies, including the use of tiger worms for fecal waste breakdown and the implementation of DEWATS toilet facilities. Yvonne Lugali obtained a BSc in Biosystems Engineering with a focus on energy, environment, and water resources management from Gulu University in 2013, after completing secondary education at Gayaza High School from 2002 to 2007.
