David Kuo has worked in a variety of roles across multiple companies. David started their career in 1983 as a Lecturer and Second Lieutenant at the Chinese Military Academy. In 1989, they moved to Everex as an Opto-mechanical Engineer and Engineering Manager. In 1993, they joined Seagate as a Sr. Engineer, Sr. Staff Engineer, Sr. Manager, and Sr. Director, where they led mobile product development and nano-technology development for HDD and other devices applications. In 2016, they became an Adjunct Professor at both Asia University (TW) and Tatung University. That same year, they also became a Community Volunteer and President of Connecting.TW, a California-based Non-Profit Organization. Finally, in 2019, they joined Water Harvesting Inc. as Executive Vice President and Sr. Vice President of Engineering, as well as a Technologist.
David Kuo obtained a B.S. in Mechanical Engineering from National Taiwan University between 1979 and 1983. David then went on to pursue a M.S. and Ph.D. in Mechanical Engineering and Heat Transfer from the University of California, Berkeley, which they completed between 1985 and 1989.
