Ben Shine

Ben Shine is an experienced professional in government relations and media, currently serving as the Manager of Government Relations and Media at WaterNSW since January 2018. Previously, Ben held the position of Manager, Government Relations and Regulatory Strategy at WaterNSW and worked at Suncorp Group as Manager of Government, Industry and Public Policy from October 2015 to January 2018. With a background as a Consultant at UNDP and Manager of Media and Communications at the Tourism and Transport Forum Australia, Ben has also garnered extensive experience in the public sector as Senior Press Secretary for the NSW Government and Media and Policy Adviser for the NSW Opposition. Ben Shine holds a Master's degree in Public Policy and a Bachelor's degree in Liberal Studies, focusing on Government and International Relations, both from the University of Sydney.
