Nahaz Chowdhury

Nahaz Chowdhury is an experienced professional with expertise in asset planning and management in the water and energy sectors. Currently serving as the Lead Portfolio Asset Planner at WaterNSW since June 2017, Nahaz oversees the planning of medium-term capital expenditures. Previous roles at WaterNSW include Maintenance Engineer Electrical and Project Asset Planner, where responsibilities included engineering support for electrical assets and project initiation, respectively. Prior to WaterNSW, Nahaz spent over eight years at TransGrid in various engineering roles, focusing on network planning, investment support, and system operations, with a specialization in battery storage technology. Nahaz holds a Master of Business Administration from Torrens University Australia and a Bachelor of Engineering in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from UNSW.
