John Brown

John Brown is a skilled BI Technical Lead and Data Architect with extensive experience in data migration, architecture, and governance. Currently at Water Plus since May 2021, John leads the migration and re-modeling from an On-Prem Data Warehouse to the MS Azure Synapse Stack while designing a roadmap for optimal Data Lakehouse architecture. Previously, John served as a Senior Business Intelligence Technical Leader at GE from September 2015 to October 2020, where expertise included solution architecture, ETL processes, and successful migrations to new technology stacks. John's career began at GE Capital, where from 2006 to September 2015, contributions included Qlikview dashboard design and bespoke developments in VB and VBA, focusing on effective reporting and data architecture.
