Theo Hooning

Theo Hooning is the founder and managing director of Hooning Association Managers, a company dedicated to serving associations, foundations, and various cooperations since April 2004. In addition to this role, Theo serves as Secretary General for both the Superyacht Builders Association and the Superyacht Life Foundation, contributing to the promotion and improvement of the superyacht industry. Theo also advises the board of the Water Revolution Foundation, focusing on ecological initiatives within the superyacht sector. Recently, Theo has taken on the role of Treasurer for the Superyacht Alliance for Professional Standards to elevate industry professionalism. Prior experience includes serving as Director of the Car and Truck Department at RAI Vereniging from 1992 to 2004. Educational qualifications include a Post-Academic Course in Association Management and a Master's degree in Business Economics from Vrije Universiteit Amsterdam.
