Biswanath Sinha

Biswanath Sinha is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in policy and technical support within the WASH sector, currently serving as the Director of Policy and Technical Support at WaterAid India since July 2022. Sinha also holds the position of Chairman of the Governing Board at Kabil India and is a member of the Governing Board at Grameen Sahara, focusing on marginalized communities in Assam and Meghalaya. As a member of the Board of Directors at AIC-SELCO Foundation, Sinha contributes to building a social entrepreneurship ecosystem in Northeastern India. Prior experience includes over 16 years at Tata Trusts in various roles, including Associate Director, overseeing substantial projects in natural resource management, rural livelihoods, health, and enterprise development. Sinha's educational background includes a Bachelor of Technology in Agricultural Engineering from Orissa University of Agriculture and Technology and ongoing research in Technology and Development at the Indian Institute of Technology, Bombay.
