WaterAid India
Geetanjali Krishna is an experienced journalist and consultant with a focus on solutions journalism and social issues. Currently serving as a Solutions Journalism Accelerator grantee for the European Journalism Network and as a LEDE fellow with the Solutions Journalism Network, Geetanjali has also co-founded The India Story Agency and works as a consultant for WaterAid India, documenting the organization's impact through case studies. Previously, Geetanjali held the position of Director at BuzzOnEarth and served as a columnist and contributing editor at Business Standard for over 26 years, where in-depth reports on health, education, women, and the environment were crafted. Geetanjali holds an MA and MPhil in Sociology from the Delhi School of Economics and has a Bachelor's degree in Psychology from Lady Shri Ram College for Women, complemented by coursework at The Wharton School.

WaterAid has been working in India since 1986 and has played a significant role in the WASH (Water, Sanitation, and Hygiene) sector nationally and in the states. Our mission is to transform the lives of the poorest and most marginalised people by improving access to WASH services.
