Abu Jibril

Abu Jibril has a wealth of experience in various roles within the field of human resources and organizational development. Abu currently holds the position of Head of People and Organizational Development at WaterAid Nigeria, a role they started in September 2019. Prior to this, Abu spent over a decade at Unity Bank Plc, where they held the position of Senior Strategy Implementation Officer from June 2008 until September 2019. Abu also had a brief stint as the Group Head of Resources at Unity Bank in 2017. Before their time at Unity Bank, Abu worked at Triple Edge Nigeria Limited as the Regional Human Resources Manager for the North region from April 1999 to June 2008. Abu began their professional career as an Admin Manager at Esskay Systek Ltd, where they worked from March 1997 to April 1999.

Abu Jibril pursued their Master of Business Administration (M.B.A.) degree in Business Administration and Management, General from Ahmadu Bello University. Abu completed this program between the years 2004 to 2006.

Later, they enrolled in Cranfield University from 2010 to 2012, where they pursued a Master of Science (MSc) degree in Managing Organizational Performance. Abu 'sfield of study at Cranfield University was Corporate Performance Management/Strategy Execution.
