Becky Harris

Becky Harris has a diverse work experience in the field of marketing, communications, and advocacy. Becky is currently working as a Strategic Communications Planner at WaterAid since June 2023.

Before this, Becky worked as a Strategic Marketing Planner at Save the Children UK from December 2021 to June 2023.

Prior to that, they served as a Supporter Engagement Manager at Shelter UK from September 2018 to December 2021.

Becky also worked at VSO as an Acquisition and Appeals Manager from December 2017 to September 2018.

Moreover, they gained experience in direct marketing at Unicef UK, where they held the positions of Direct Marketing Manager from May to December 2017 and Direct Marketing Officer from September 2015 to May 2017.

Before joining Unicef UK, Becky worked as a Direct Marketing Executive at Cancer Research UK from June 2014 to August 2015.

Earlier in their career, they served as a Client Manager at more2 from July 2012 to June 2014, where they assisted clients in interpreting marketing data, building marketing strategies, and executing campaigns.

Becky also gained experience as an intern at Harehills and Chapeltown Law Centre from October 2011 to November 2012, where they volunteered with an immigration solicitor, assisting in client communication, drafting letters, conducting research, and attending client interviews.

Furthermore, they interned at Mental Disability Advocacy Center for a three-week placement in July 2010, focusing on mental health, psychosocial disabilities, and employment. Becky'stasks included legal research, document summary, and website updates.

Finally, Becky worked as a Playworker at Childrens Playlink, a holiday play scheme for children with disabilities, from April to June 2010.

Becky Harris completed their education at various institutions. In 2017, they attended The Institute of Direct and Digital Marketing where they obtained a Postgraduate Diploma in Direct and Digital Marketing, specializing in the field of Marketing. From 2008 to 2012, they pursued a Bachelor of Laws (LLB) (Hons) degree in English Law with European Law at the University of Leeds. During their time at the University, in 2010 and 2011, they also participated in the ERASMUS program at KU Leuven to study Law. Additionally, in January 2021, Becky completed the CMI Level 7 Senior Leadership Programme at the In Professional Development institution.
