John Byaruhanga

John Byaruhanga has a diverse work experience in the finance and administration field. John started their career at World Vision, where they worked as an Accountant for six years before transitioning to become a Program Financial Analyst for two years. Following this, they joined Save the Children US as a Finance Manager. John then worked as a Finance and Administration Advisor at JSI | John Snow, Inc. for six months. John later served as the Finance and Administration Manager at Action Africa Help International for two years. John then joined PEAS as a Finance Director, where they provided overall control and responsibility for all financial aspects of the organization's strategy. Currently, they hold the position of Head of Finance at WaterAid, where they provide strategic leadership and ensures sound financial management and internal controls within the country program.

John Byaruhanga completed a Diploma in Business Studies with a focus on Accounting and Finance from Makerere University Business School between 1994 and 1996. John then pursued a Bachelor's Degree in Commerce, majoring in Accounting, from Makerere University from 2002 to 2006. Later, they obtained a Master's Degree in Accounting and Business/Management from Makerere University between 2013 and 2015.
