Community Development Grants Director at City of Waterbury-Mayor's Office

Christopher Bandecchi has a diverse work experience in various roles and organizations. Christopher'smost recent position is as the Community Development Grants Director at the City of Waterbury since April 2021. Prior to that, they served as an Adjunct Professor at Southern Connecticut State University starting in August 2020.

From 2013 to 2021, Bandecchi worked for the Town of Stratford. Christopher initially served as the Community Development Administrator, responsible for managing the town's Community Development Block Grant program. Christopher later took on the role of Constituent Service and Outreach Coordinator, acting as a liaison between municipal agencies and constituents, organizations, and businesses.

In 2013, Bandecchi worked at STABAN Engineering Corp as a Scheduler, where they assisted in project management and scheduling using Microsoft Project.

Before that, in 2012, they held two campaign positions. Christopher was the Deputy Campaign Manager for Paul Formica for US Congress, overseeing field operations and providing strategic coordination. Christopher also served as the Campaign Manager for Nicholson for Branford 2012, managing and coordinating all campaign operations.

Bandecchi's earlier experiences include working as an Executive Assistant for the Town of Vernon - Office of the Mayor in 2010, an eCampaign Director for Tom Foley for Governor in 2010, and a Political Database Manager for Tom Foley for U.S. Senate in 2009.

Christopher began their career as an Intern at the Republican State Central Committee in 2009.

Christopher Bandecchi received a Bachelor of Science degree in Political Science from Southern Connecticut State University in 2010. Christopher then went on to obtain a Master of Science degree in Political Science, specializing in Public Policy and Administration, from the same university in 2012.
