Joerg Niessing

Joerg Niessing is a Senior Affiliate Professor of Marketing at INSEAD, a position held since January 2014, where also serves as Director of the INSEAD eLab. In addition, Joerg Niessing is a Strategic Advisor for waterdrop® since October 2016. Prior experience includes roles at Prophet from February 2006 to December 2013, where positions ranged from Associate Partner to Senior Consultant, and a guest speaker at London Business School's MBA and executive MBA programs from January 2011 to October 2013. Joerg Niessing was Managing Director and Project Manager at the Marketing Center Muenster between 2001 and 2006, and briefly worked as a Consultant at Droege Group in 2001. Earlier in career, Joerg Niessing held the title of Associate Product Marketing Manager at DaimlerChrysler in 1999. Academic qualifications include a PhD in Marketing from the University of Münster (2004-2005) and a Master's degree in business administration with a focus on international management, marketing, and controlling from the same institution (1997-2001).
