Marina Sliško Uzel

Marina Sliško Uzel has extensive work experience in finance and controlling roles. Marina currently works at waterdrop®, where they serve as a Business Partner Controlling Joint Ventures and Senior Finance Controlling Expert. Prior to this role, Marina worked at adapa Group as a Controlling Specialist. Marina has also worked at KWS Group as a Finance Business Partner for the South-East Europe Region, Banco do Brasil as a Senior Analyst Controller for the Western/Central Europe Region, and in various roles at KWS Group, including Senior Regional Controller and Corporate Finance Specialist & Controller. Marina's earlier experience includes working as a Customer Relationship Management Analyst at Presoflex d.o.o. and as a Junior Revenue Accountant at Carnival Cruise Line. Throughout their career, Marina has demonstrated skills in finance consultation, cash management, net working capital optimization, cost accounting, and financial analysis. Marina has also shown expertise in strategic planning, change management, and facilitating external audit processes.

Marina Sliško Uzel obtained their Bachelor of Economics degree in Accounting and Finance Management from RRiF College of Finance Management Zagreb in 2018. Prior to that, they attended Ekonomska skola Pozega from 1991 to 1994 and received their High School diploma. In terms of additional certifications, Marina obtained a Language certificate from Berlitz Austria GmbH in February 2016 and a CAE - Certificate in Advanced English from Cambridge English Language Assessment in June 2006.
