Alison O'Donnell is a versatile professional with extensive experience in writing, teaching, and community service. Since May 2018, Alison has been a freelance reporter for Motif Magazine, focusing on reviews of theater, restaurants, and events. As an author, Alison has published "Stupid Cupid! A Survivor's Guide to Online Dating" and "The Adventures of Gizmo," which are available on major platforms. With a career in education spanning over two decades, Alison has been a secondary English teacher since February 2001. Additionally, Alison has contributed as an editor for Drumline Beats & Rhythms, volunteered for WaterFire Providence and Hasbro Children's Hospital, and performed as a musician and standup comedian since the early 1980s. Alison's educational background includes degrees from Rhode Island College and Providence College, and Alison is a member of the Association of Rhode Island Authors.
