Teddy Shalon

Teddy Shalon is an experienced entrepreneur and investor. In 2017, they founded ThinOPTICS, a company that develops revolutionary eyewear that fits conveniently on the back of a smartphone to address reading glasses and sunglasses. Teddy also became a General Partner at Prolog Ventures, a venture capital firm that backs companies that help all of us enjoy healthy lives in a healthy world. In the same year, they took on the role of Chairman & CTO at WaterGuru, the first cloud-managed testing & treatment appliance targeting 9 million households with residential swimming pools. In 2018, they founded Theracaine, a company that develops a long-lasting solution to post-operative pain. In 2021, they became the Founder & Board member at Dreamade.

Teddy Shalon obtained a Bachelor's Degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering and a Bachelor's Degree in Physics from Washington University in St. Louis between 1974 and 1978. Teddy then went on to receive a Master's Degree in Computer Science from Washington University in St. Louis in 1984.
