Matthew Mostek has a diverse work experience, starting with roles at John Deere, where they worked as a Pricing Analyst and Specification Analyst, responsible for publishing and maintaining engineering change documents and managing product data. Matthew also served as the Central PDP & TURF Lead and Supply Management Planner at John Deere. Matthew has also worked as the Head Boy's Track Coach at Waterloo Community School District and as a Nutrition Specialist at Total Nutrition. Matthew has coaching experience in track and field at Waterloo West High School, West High School, and Wartburg College. Matthew has also held positions at Sunnyside Country Club, N.A.P.M. Eastern Iowa Affiliate, Menards Inc., and Waverly Palace Theatre.

Matthew Mostek earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Business Administration and Sport Management from Wartburg College, where they studied from 2008 to 2012. In addition to their degree, they obtained certifications including Level 1 Track and Field Technical Coaching from USTFCCCA in September 2013 and Coaching Authorization from the State of Iowa Board of Educational Examiners in August 2013.
