Joanne Weston

Joanne Weston is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in event management, educational advocacy, and financial administration. Currently serving as Manager for Balsillie School of International Affairs, Joanne organizes over 100 events annually, ensuring smooth execution from planning to delivery. As an elected Trustee for the Waterloo Region District School Board, Joanne advocates for public education and fosters collaboration between families and the educational community. Previous experience includes roles as Co-owner and Treasurer at CPR Cell Phone Repair, New Teacher Induction Program Facilitator at Waterloo Catholic District School Board, and various positions in early childhood care and accounts payable. Joanne holds a Bachelor of Arts in Criminology and Political Science from the University of Toronto and a Bookkeeping Certificate from Algonquin College.
