Martha Hansen is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in operations, leadership development, and education. Currently, Martha serves as the Chief Operating Officer at Pyramid Swim, overseeing finances, operations, and strategic initiatives, while also promoting high-profile swim instruction and managing the company's online presence. Concurrently, Martha is the Team Services Coordinator at Waterloo Swimming, where the Waterloo Leadership Model was developed to enhance employee strengths and foster growth among over 4,500 swimmers. As the owner of Charlotte's Threads, a female-run small business, Martha manages all aspects of operations and sales. Previous roles include serving as the Director of Business and Administration at Austin Aquatics and Sports Academy, where operational guidelines were established, and as a math teacher in various middle schools, focusing on creating supportive learning environments. Martha holds a Bachelor of Business Administration in Marketing from The University of Texas at Austin, a Master of Education in Educational Administration from Lamar University, and a Master of Organizational Leadership from Trevecca Nazarene University.

At Waterloo Swimming (www.waterlooswimming.com), we believe that learning to swim should promote lifelong skills, respect for the water, and be fun. We offer a comprehensive learn-to-swim program in a friendly, supportive environment. We offer classes to all ages, six months through adulthood. We love to swim and our goal is to build that in our students through fun, confidence, and success. Classes offered: Waterloo Babies- for babies 6 months to three years with an adult Blue/Orange/White courses- learn to swim unassisted front and back with water safety program Novice and Intermediate- Stroke School Pre-Competitive Swimming Techniques Adult Lessons and Fitness Benefits of Waterloo Swimming Trained swim instructors Low ratio of four swimmers per instructor Pool safety and respect is taught alongside swimming techniques Parental involvement in understanding the building blocks for learning how to swim Waterloo Swimming…“Where Swimming Happens”
