Anyssa Bohanan

Anyssa Bohanan is an experienced journalist currently serving as a reporter for KTNV Channel 13 Action News since August 2024. Prior to this role, Anyssa worked at Hearst Television from September 2020 to July 2024 as a weekend morning anchor and reporter, demonstrating strong skills in producing newscasts, creating content, and community engagement. Anyssa's previous experience includes a role as a reporter, weekend anchor, and producer at KOHD-ABC/KBNZ-CBS from May 2016 to September 2020, as well as a TEDx speaker engagement in May 2017. In earlier positions, Anyssa served as a guest English teacher in Korea and worked as a news reporter/anchor for Bobcat Update, gaining foundational experience through internships at YNN Austin and WBAL News. Anyssa holds a Bachelor's degree in Mass Communication/Media Studies from Texas State University, where studies were completed from 2009 to 2013.
