Matt Bufford

Matt Bufford is an experienced attorney at Waters Kraus & Paul, where Matt has worked since March 2020, following previous roles as a law clerk and summer law clerk at the same firm. Educationally, Matt earned a Doctor of Law (J.D.) from the University of North Texas at Dallas College of Law and a Bachelor's degree in Public Safety Administration from Charter Oak State College. Prior to a legal career, Matt had extensive experience in public service, including roles as a firefighter paramedic at Highland Village Fire Department, firefighter EMT-I with the Galveston Fire Department, and a boatswain's mate 1st Class in the U.S. Coast Guard. Additionally, Matt served as a sergeant avionics technician in the United States Marine Corps.
