Jurgen Berghuis

Jurgen Berghuis has extensive experience in project management and consulting within the fields of civil engineering and real estate. Currently a project leader and developer at Ingenieursbureau Westenberg B.V. since February 2014, Jurgen specializes in movable structures and conducts maintenance inspections, condition assessments, and risk inventories according to various standards such as NEN 2767 and NEN 12100. Jurgen also owns a consultancy focused on property and civil structures at Montagnemaison beheer and serves as a volunteer dike warden for Waterschap Drents-Overijsselse Delta. Previous roles include senior advisor at MAAT ingenieurs, project leader at Concept Ingenieurs, and involvement in norm-setting committees with NEN. Jurgen holds a degree in construction engineering from Christelijke Hogeschool Windesheim and has been active in technical project oversight and maintenance for various organizations since 2006.
