Bert Staat possesses extensive experience in public service and project management, currently serving as a member of the United Assembly of Waterschap Hollandse Delta since March 2019, and as a board member of the Dordrecht - Bamenda twin city association since January 2019. With a long tenure at Rijkswaterstaat from August 1981 to August 2024, Bert has held multiple roles including Advisor for Tunnel Safety, Project Leader for the implementation of Peak and Additional Lanes under the ZSM project, and Senior Project Staff overseeing the construction of new regional offices and the traffic control center in Rhoon.
