Jarno Abbas

Jarno Abbas is an experienced project leader and manager in the civil engineering and humanitarian sectors. Currently serving as Project Leader Civil and Cultural Technology at Waterschap Hunze en Aa's since June 2023, Jarno has previously held positions such as Project Leader at Visser & Smit Hanab, Coordinator of Emergency Aid at Rode Kruis Nederland, and Team Leader of Engineering & Construction at Fudura. Additional roles include Department Manager at Essity, Project Leader at De Romein Group and A.Hak Electron, and various managerial positions at Boskalis Subsea and Visser & Smit Hanab. Jarno's career began with a role as Mechanical Supervisor at SCA Hygiene Products. Educationally, Jarno holds a degree from HU University of Applied Sciences Utrecht, obtained between 2006 and 2008.
