Ibo Vaatstra

Ibo Vaatstra has extensive experience in environmental enforcement and management, having worked at Waterschap Noorderzijlvest since April 1992 in various roles including VTH-A Toezichthouder milieu, VTH-B Milieuhandhaver, VTH-C Milieuhandhaver, peilbeheerder, and medewerker onderhoud. Responsibilities have included overseeing industrial compliance, managing agricultural sector regulations, conducting business inspections, and emergency response duties. Additionally, Ibo Vaatstra is the owner of VT&H Vaatstra Toezicht & Handhaving, established in October 2015, which focuses on environmental law compliance and advisory services for the agricultural and small to medium-sized industrial sectors. Ibo Vaatstra also briefly served as a handhaving medewerker at Waterschap Vechtstromen in late 2014 and is currently pursuing a specialist diploma in environmental law enforcement with a focus on environmental legislation since 2013.
