Rianne Bredenhoff-Bijlsma

Rianne Bredenhoff-Bijlsma has extensive experience in water management and policy development, having held various roles in reputable organizations. Currently serving as a Beleidsadviseur Water en Ruimte and Projectleider/planvormer at Waterschap Noorderzijlvest since August 2019, Rianne has previously worked as an Adviseur watersysteem at Waterschap Rijn en IJssel and as a consultant at Royal HaskoningDHV and Witteveen+Bos, focusing on water management and spatial planning. Rianne's expertise includes leading significant projects such as the Verkenning Grenskanaal and contributing to various plan studies related to flood safety. Rianne also holds a PhD from the University of Twente, where research focused on addressing uncertainties in policy development, complemented by a Master's degree in Water Management from the same institution.
