Bryan C.

Bryan C. has a diverse work experience spanning multiple industries. Bryan started their career at Deloitte as a Business Technology Consultant, where they worked on various projects, initially focusing on writing functional requirements and test cases before transitioning into UX design and prototyping. Bryan then joined the nascent Deloitte Digital office in San Francisco, where they built mobile prototypes, taught others to write iOS, and performed other design-related coding tasks.

After their time at Deloitte, Bryan joined Starbucks as a Senior Mobile Designer, where they played a key role in redesigning the Starbucks iOS app. Bryan worked closely with the design team and was responsible for iOS and mobile ordering.

In 2015, Bryan joined Khan Academy as a Senior Software Engineer and eventually became the mobile lead. Bryan'swork revolved around engineering, but due to their design background, they also contributed to designing the features being built. Bryan was involved in creating and designing the iOS and Android apps, including the transition to React Native.

Bryan's most recent role was at Stripe, where they served as a Senior Full Stack Engineer on the Radar team. Bryan played an essential role in building and maintaining the user interfaces and APIs that merchants used to interact with the machine learning systems that detect and prevent fraud.

Currently, Bryan is a Senior Full Stack Engineer at Watershed, starting in 2022.

Bryan C. obtained their Bachelor of Engineering degree in Industrial Engineering from the University of California, Berkeley, from the years 2005 to 2009. Following their bachelor's degree, Bryan pursued further education at Cornell University, completing a Master's degree in Industrial Engineering from 2009 to 2010.
