Sara Hix, A-CSPO, is an accomplished product management professional with extensive experience in the healthcare and technology sectors. Currently serving as the Director of Product at Watershed Health since May 2025, Sara previously held the position of Senior Product Owner at Protective Life from January 2022 to April 2025. Sara’s career includes significant roles such as Product Owner at RxBenefits, Inc. and Digital Marketing Specialist - Web Product Owner at Blue Cross and Blue Shield of Alabama, overseeing the myBlueCross member portal. Early career experiences include roles as a Success Manager at EAB and Business Development at Urban Coding, where Sara focused on client satisfaction and product development. Sara also has a solid foundation in program administration, demonstrated through the management of the TJ Atchison Spinal Cord Injury Research Program at The University of Alabama at Birmingham. An Auburn University graduate with a Bachelor of Arts in Communication, Sara combines a strong educational background with comprehensive expertise in product strategy and client engagement.
