Bill Bruss

Bill Bruss is the current Chief Operating Officer, General Counsel, and Secretary at WaterStone Bank and Waterstone Financial, Inc. Bill has been with the company since February 1997, overseeing legal affairs such as foreclosures, bankruptcies, litigation, securities work, real estate, general corporate matters, and employment matters. Prior to this role, Bill served as an Associate Attorney at Forester & Forester, representing small to medium-sized businesses in various legal matters. Bill also served as Assistant Secretary and a member of the Board of Directors at Waterstone Mortgage Corporation from 2006 to 2012. Bill holds a JD from Marquette University Law School and a BA in English from St. Olaf College.
