Karen Ashworth

Karen Ashworth is an accomplished finance professional with a strong background in financial management and control. Currently serving as Chief Financial Officer at Waterstones since March 2024, Karen has previously held notable positions, including Vice President of Financial Control and Finance Director at FARFETCH from March 2017 to March 2024. Additional experience includes roles at IMG as an executive in International, Media and Events, and as Head of Group Finance at Virgin Active. Earlier in the career, Karen was Financial Director for EMEA Consumer Healthcare Supply Chain at GlaxoSmithKline. Karen holds a degree from the University of Leeds, having studied there from January 1994 to January 1997.
