Tina Lane

Assistant Superintendent for Personnel & Student Services, Title IX Coordinator at Watertown City School District

Tina Lane has been working in education for over 25 years. Tina started their career as an elementary teacher in the General Brown Central School District. After six years in the classroom, they became the district's instructional technology specialist. In this role, they helped teachers integrate technology into their classrooms and curriculum. After seven years in this position, they were promoted to junior-senior high school principal. During their nine years as principal, they oversaw a period of growth and improvement in the school's test scores and graduation rate. In 2016, they left General Brown to become the assistant superintendent for instruction in the Oneida City School District. After three years in this position, they returned to their home district of Watertown to take on the role of assistant superintendent for personnel and student services. In this role, they are also the district's Title IX coordinator. Tina Lane is a dedicated educator with a passion for helping all students succeed.

Tina Lane has completed a certificate of advanced study in Educational Administration from the State University of New York College at Oswego. Tina has also completed a Master of Science in Education in Instructional Technology and Media Management from the State University of New York College at Potsdam. Tina holds a Bachelor of Science in Psychology with a minor in Elementary Education from Le Moyne College.

They are on a team with and Stacey Eger-Converse - Assistant Superintendent for Curriculum & Instruction, Chief Diversity Officer. Tina Lane reports to Patricia LaBarr, Superintendent.
