Bill Thornton

Bill Thornton has extensive experience in the irrigation sales industry, currently serving as Business Development and Key Accounts at Watertronics since March 2015, where previously held the position of Regional Sales Manager for the Southwestern US. Prior to joining Watertronics, Bill spent over 16 years at The Toro Company, successfully maintaining a dominant 50%+ market share in the Golf Irrigation market as a Regional Sales Manager for Western US and Canada, and cultivating relationships as the National Golf Specifications Sales Manager. Bill's career commenced at L.L. Johnson Distributing as the Irrigation Manager, overseeing operations for multiple branches, and included several roles at The Toro Company from 1983 to 1996, culminating as Golf Sales Manager for a diverse range of territories. Bill holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Agronomy and Crop Science from Texas A&M University.
