Gerard Bayly

Gerard Bayly is a seasoned engineering professional with extensive experience in the construction industry, currently serving as a Senior Engineer at Waterways Ireland since January 2021. Prior to this role, Gerard held various positions including Project Manager at Midland Construction from April 2014 to January 2021, Senior Site Engineer at Walls Construction from April 2013 to April 2014, and Project Engineer at Midland Construction from February 2010 to April 2013. Gerard began their career as a Site Engineer at Townlink Construction Ltd from September 2006 to March 2008 and worked as a Contract Supervisor at Arkil from June 2004 to September 2006. Gerard holds a degree in Civil, Structural & Environmental Engineering from Trinity College Dublin, completed in 2005, and completed the Leaving Certificate at St Declans CBS in 2000.
