Barbara van Steen

Barbara van Steen currently serves as the Directeur Wonen & Vastgoed at Waterweg Wonen since April 2023 and holds a position as a lid van het verantwoordingsorgaan at Stichting Pensioenfonds voor de Woningcorporaties (SPW) since July 2022. From October 2019 to October 2023, Barbara was a zittingslid at the Huurcommissie. Previously, Barbara worked at Woonstad Rotterdam from May 2007 to March 2023 in various managerial roles, including Manager Wijkbeheer, where responsibilities included overseeing a team of six team leaders and around 70 staff members across a housing area of approximately 50,000 homes. Other positions held include Manager Wijkteam at Woonstad Rotterdam and Programmamanager. Barbara also served on the stadsjury for Citylab010 from 2019 to February 2023 and worked as an Ontwikkelingsmanager at Dudok Wonen from 2005 to 2007 and as an Adviseur at Akro Consult from 1998 to 2005. Barbara holds an education from Erasmus University Rotterdam, attended from 1990 to 1998, and has a background from Emmaus College.
