Ian Newstead

Ian Newstead is an experienced IT professional with a strong background in IT applications support, management, and strategic leadership across various sectors. Currently serving as the IT Applications Support & Mobilisation Manager at Wates Group since February 2016, Ian leads a team focused on the mobilisation and support of critical business solutions within the social housing sector. Prior to this role, Ian was the Head of IT at Purchase Group for nearly eight years, overseeing strategic IT leadership and operational delivery. Ian's experience also includes roles as Business Systems Manager at Allen Group, Infrastructure Manager at Shrewsbury College, and Technical Support Manager at Pivotal Corporation, contributing to significant developments in IT infrastructure and support.
