Ben Day is an experienced football analyst currently serving as the Lead YDP/FDP Analyst at Watford Football Club since August 2022. Prior to this role, Ben worked as a Women's Performance Analyst at Leicester City Football Club for a brief period in July 2021 and held multiple positions at Burton Albion Football Club, including Head of Analysis and Head of Academy Analysis from July 2019 to June 2021. In addition, Ben was involved with Loughborough Sport as an Assistant Coach for the Men's Performance Football Programme and Head Coach for the Women's Football 3rd Team during the same timeframe. Ben started the career as a Football Analyst at Opta Sports from August 2018 to July 2019 and gained foundational experience as an Analysis Intern at The Yorkshire County Cricket Club from May 2016 to August 2018. Ben Day earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Sport Management from Loughborough University between 2019 and 2022.
