Jon Goodman

Jon Goodman started their work experience in 2005 as the Head of Sports Science at Watford Football Club. Jon then worked in a similar position at Reading Football Club from 2006 to 2008. Afterwards, they joined Leeds United Football Club as the Head of Sports Science from 2013 to 2014. In 2014, they started working at Nike as an Academy Manager until 2017. From 2017 to 2018, they served as the Academy Manager at Notts County Football Club, and then as the Academy Assistant Head of Player Development at Tottenham Hotspur Football Club from 2018 to 2019. Jon was the Academy Manager at Milton Keynes Dons Football Club from 2019 to 2022. Currently, they are the Head of Academy Recruitment at Watford Football Club since 2023. Jon Goodman also has experience as the owner of Think Fitness from 2007 to 2016 and Science and Football from 2012 to 2016.

Jon Goodman completed their Bachelor of Science - BSc (Hons) degree in Sports Science & Coaching from the University of Surrey from 1997 to 2000. In addition, they obtained the UEFA A License certification from The Football Association in December 2015 and the Advanced Youth Award certification from The Football Association in May 2020.
