Hasan Tahir is a Mechatronics Engineering undergraduate at the University of Waterloo, currently working as a Robotics Software Engineering Intern at Normal Corporation, focusing on embedded controls and reinforcement learning for HVAC systems. Previously, Hasan interned at Rivian, where they contributed to software for autonomy systems, and at onsemi, developing firmware for voltage controllers. Hasan also led a team at WATonomous, overseeing the development of controls for an autonomous vehicle. With a passion for autonomous software and control systems, Hasan enjoys powerlifting and engaging with peers who share similar interests.
