Ivan Muwaya

Ivan Muwaya has extensive work experience in the education sector. Ivan is currently working as a Geography/History Teacher at Galaxy International School Uganda (GISU) since September 2021. Prior to this, they worked at Word of Life International School as a Geography/History Teacher since 2018. Before that, Ivan held various roles at Watoto Child Care Ministries, including Head Teacher and Teacher from 2006 to the present. Ivan also served as a Head Teacher at Master Cares Christian School from 2016 to 2017, where they were responsible for budgeting, policy development, and leadership development. Furthermore, they worked as a Head Teacher at Hope Senior School from 2013 to 2015, where their responsibilities included staff management, policy development, and computer programming. Ivan Muwaya also gained teaching experience at Jinja College from 2005 to 2006.

Ivan Muwaya attended Kiira College Butiki from 1997 to 2000, where they obtained an Uganda Certificate of Education in the field of O Level. Ivan then proceeded to Jinja College from 2001 to 2002, where they received an Uganda Advanced Certificate of Education in the field of A Level.
