Robert Sawhney

Robert Sawhney is a seasoned executive with extensive experience in strategy and commercial development within the fitness industry. Currently serving as the CEO for APAC and Global Chief Strategy Officer at Watson Gym Equipment since January 2024, Robert previously held multiple roles at Life Fitness, including Director of Strategy and Commercial Development - International, and Director of Strategic Accounts APAC. Prior experience includes key positions at Technogym and SRC Associates Ltd, where Robert served as Managing Partner and Lead Strategy Consultant, focusing on enhancing competitiveness for professional services firms. Additionally, Robert has contributed to the Managing Partners' Forum and PM Forum as Regional Director and Editorial Consultant for Asia, respectively, and has played a significant role in charitable initiatives with Variety Children's Charity Hong Kong. Robert holds a BSc (Hons) in Management and Exercise Science from Brunel University London, an MBA from the University of Lincoln, and a PhD in Strategy from The Hong Kong Polytechnic University.
