Wattcrop is a pioneering renewable energy and energy storage developer that has established its presence in the Greek energy market as a true startup success story. With a clear vision that guides the company from its inception, Wattcrop aims to become the most successful renewable energy project developer in Greece.

The company was incorporated in 2019 aiming to develop best-in-class renewable energy and energy storage projects mainly in South-East Europe and the UK. Wattcrop works in partnership with Cero Generation, which has a 25GW solar and battery storage portfolio, and identifies, develops, builds and operates utility scale projects across eight European countries.  

By strictly adhering to ESG criteria and environmental protection standards, while leveraging digitalization and innovative project development tools, Wattcrop has managed to co-create best practices in the sector and raise important issues for discussion, radically influencing existing development methods in Greece.

To achieve this we are capitalising on local talent by establishing local teams on the jurisdictions we operate. In addition to greenfield development, we aim to expand our portfolios through licencing acquisition and strategic partnerships.

Our goal is to drive Carbon Zero energy generation, support local communities, protect, and enhance ecosystem biodiversity, envisioning a better more sustainable future for all.
