Victor De La Torre

Victor De La Torre has a diverse work experience. Victor is currently working as a Strategic Account Manager at WattLogic since November 2022. From 2019 to 2022, they worked at U.S. Energy Recovery as a Project Auditor/Manager. Prior to that, they were a Solar Consultant at Sunrun from 2017 to 2019. Victor also gained experience through summer internships and temporary employment. Victor worked as a Quality Assurance intern at Covidien (Medtronic Minimally Invasive Therapies Group) in 2015, where they conducted quality assurance tests on medical equipment. In 2014, they had a temporary summer employment at the Illinois Department of Natural Resources, where they focused on park management, conservation, and preservation at the Fox Ridge state park.

Victor De La Torre pursued their education at Eastern Illinois University, where they obtained a Bachelor's Degree in Applied Engineering/Technology from 2011 to 2015. Victor further pursued their studies at the same institution and earned a Master's Degree in Sustainability Studies from 2015 to 2017. In addition to their academic achievements, Victor De La Torre also obtained two certifications. One of them is the Energy Innovation and Emerging Technologies certification from Stanford University, which they received in February 2017. The other certification is the LEED Green Associate, obtained from Green Business Certification, Inc. in December 2016.
