Matthew Ashton is an experienced presenter and producer with a strong background in radio and administrative roles. Currently serving as a Presenter/Producer at LDC Radio 97.8FM Leeds since January 2021, Matthew has also been an Administrative Assistant at Watts Group Limited since October 2014, where responsibilities include managing sensitive survey data and liaising with clients on a national housing project. Freelance voiceover work has been undertaken for various clients, including the Digital Learning Team at the University of Leeds. Previous positions include presenting shows on Gravity Dance and Leeds Student Radio, where an award was achieved for excellence in broadcasting. Academically, Matthew holds a Bachelor's Degree in German from the University of Leeds and has further education experience from Ludwig-Maximilians-Universität München.
